Built deep into the earth with only the large, glass-encased entryway protruding above ground, this geological shrine is literally embedded in Signal Hill, which is made up of 550-million-year-old rocks!
The GEO Centre explores the region’s geological features in amazing detail. You will descend in a glass elevator and view the planets of our solar system. Multi media presentations and over 16,000 square feet of exhibits including 'The Titanic Story” and Exxon Mobil Oil & Gas Gallery make this museum a must see.
Kids love the sounds of thunder and lightening in the theater. It is located at 175 Signal Hill Road. Go to its website www.geocentre.ca for detailed information.
