To see an impressive cathedral, go to 200 Military Road where this 1855 Roman Catholic cathedral was built in a true Romanesque style. Its location on Military Road overlooks the older section of the city and harbor; and thus the cathedral has a commanding presence.
A museum with religious objects, Catholic Church artifacts and vestments is next door in the Bishops’ Palace. The museum is open June through September, daily 11-4 or by appointment. There is a small admission fee for the museum. Address: 200 Military Road
