Kickboxing is a stand up, striking style of martial art that is similar to boxing but with kicking as well as punching. The goal of a kickboxing match is to end the fight by getting your opponent to hit the ground. In addition to sport, kickboxing is practiced in St. John's for a combination of training purposes including self-defence, fitness and even dance.
