St. John's Karate

Once used as a system to fend off invaders on Japan’s Okinawa Island, karate in St. John's has become a commonly practiced martial art. Karate is as much about state of mind at it is the movement of the body. Basic karate skills can improve a child’s confidence and moral character, while adults can be trained full contact karate for self defence and fitness purposes.
